THE POWER OF GRATITUDE & VISUALISATION

Pic Courtesy: as within. Thank you Nilima for sharing this one on FB
Thoughts and words are powerful in creating our future. Visualisation is an even more powerful creator. The Universe responds to the emotions we project into it.

The principle of Parabrahmam is the same. The Parabrahmam responds to our feelings. You feel abundant; you get more abundance. You feel healthy; your health improves tremendously, so on and so forth.

But the mind attaches itself to the present state – of pain, of lack and the like. How to turn around your mind? It’s not easy. But then again, it’s not impossible. A very effective tool to turn around the mind to positivity is “gratitude”. Gratitude can be used in two ways.

1. Thank God everyday for what all you have. I even thank God if I am hurt; if I have a fever; if there had been an argument or fight at home. This is projecting to the universe that everything that comes my way is the “best” that can happen to me at a given point in time. Of course, I thank for these along with all great things too – like my family, my pet, my home, daily sales of my books, increase in the hits of my blogs; the food I eat, the AC that I have on for so many hours at home, my PC, my cell phone... you get the drift. This is showing thankfulness for things that you already have; telling God that all that He is giving you is only for your best.

2. Thank God for all those things that you want to happen to you. This is creating your future. You don’t ask for what you want. You “thank” for what you want, taking it for granted that it is going to happen.

Doing “1” will make “2” easier to materialise. I started maintain a Gratitude Journal from December 2013. I think most of my friends know how my life as an author has turned around from 2014 – in leaps and bounds. I had self-published 4 books (3 novels & 1 anthology) in 2014, on Amazon.

The Book Club happened to me. It was as if Rubina Ramesh had created it exclusively for me. I mean no offence to the other authors who are being promoted on this platform. But TBC has worked wonders for my book sales. I am absolutely grateful to The Book Club, Rubina and a host of bloggers and authors who come together to review my work, interview me and host me on their blogs. A mammoth effort that appears effortless but it’s definitely not so.

Every time I think it’s fabulous and I am having the best time of my life, it gets better. Like 2015 has brought to me a traditional publisher – Readomania – who’s keen to publish my book; I have my own website: www.sundarivenkatraman.com. I have Nilima Mohite to thank for this one.

A-Z April Challenge 2015 was another fabulous venture that brought me a lot of friends online. It also challenged me to write a different genre of short stories altogether. For this, I have to thank Rubina again as it was she who introduced me to writing mythological fiction. I also thank the A-Z Challenge team. It was a truly enlightening experience while being absolute fun.

All this while, Bhagavan had been training my mind, I realise - to remove its focus from negativity towards positivity. It’s not that negative thoughts don’t occur. We are still moving through 4th Dimension and negative thoughts are still present, though weaker. What happens is that with constant awareness, I know the moment a negative thought enters my mind and am able to pull myself out of it, before it takes form in my outer world.

Visualisation goes a long way in helping my cause here. Amma advised me to download pictures from the internet or scan copies of photos from the family album – like I weighed 30 kg less a few decades ago. Seeing an old picture of mine and holding it in front of me for a few minutes every day will go a long way in pushing me towards losing weight.

May 20 has been declared as World Oneness Day by Amma Bhagavan. May 20, 2015: the energies have changed tremendously. We have reached a point in our evolution when our powerful thoughts and visualisations project immediately. We are creating as we think. Forget about having negative thoughts. Train yourself to create exactly what you want. The clearer and more colourful your visualisation, the faster it becomes your reality.

Yes, it’s already happening in my life. And I am sure in all our lives. I am noticing it in the smallest of things. I will be writing more articles on the miracles that are happening in my life.

And when you thank again and again – God gives you even more than what you ask. Because He knows what we need way better than we know ourselves. AND He gives only wonderful things. Forget the punishing God – She doesn’t exist.

AUTO-RICKSHAW MIRACLE

Lord Muruga
This happened yesterday and I felt the need to share this experience with all of my readers. My daughter Vinny sprained her right ankle very badly and it was when we went to the Orthopaedic in Khar that we came to know that she has a tiny fracture as well as a ligament tear. She couldn’t place her right foot down anyway and keeps hopping when she needs to move.

We live in Sion and people living in Mumbai know that Auto-rickshaws ply only in certain parts of the city. They come right up to the end of the road where my building is situated. We need to walk about 100 metres to reach our building. It was around 6.30 when we left Bandra and unable to find a cab, we took an auto-rickshaw – Vinny, her fiancé and me.

I prayed to Lord Muruga that somehow the auto-rickshaw should be taken to the building’s gate so that Vinny doesn’t have trouble hopping those 100 m inside the road.

When praying to God, it’s best not to bother about the logistics. That’s for the Supreme Intelligence to deal with. I just go into surrender and gratitude and ask for what I want. And get exactly that. How the Divine goes about it is again just not our business. We just need to sit back and enjoy the ride; which is what I did yesterday.

The moment the auto-rickshawala reached the highway on the opposite side to where my road ends, he refused to go further saying that only a week ago he had been fined Rs. 1200 and he didn’t want to undergo a similar experience once again. Vinny got irritated as she already was in pain. Her fiancé was at his persuasive best to make the rickshawala take his vehicle across as crossing the road is next to impossible in the evenings and taking the subway was out of question.

I suddenly saw God’s hand in the situation. Of course, that was also because of His blessing only. I told the driver, “You please take us across the road and drop the other two as my daughter is unable to walk. I will return with you to the same side of the road after taking a U-turn and get off this side. This is to ensure that you don’t land in trouble. If a cop questions, I will be in your vehicle and I will pay the requisite fine.” He immediately agreed and would have probably driven us to even Timbaktoo at that point.

For the first time in 30 years (since I got married and came to live in Sion), an auto entered my road in broad daylight as the driver took it down the road, right inside my building gate to drop Vinny and her fiancé outside the building entrance. I went along in the auto, supremely confident that no cop will catch us. Believe me, there were four of them standing right outside the fish market on the highway. But then, Lord Muruga was protecting me and my family. We took a U-turn, I got off near the subway, paid the driver and walked back home. As cool as that!

What to say about Lord Muruga’s miracle! Just THANK YOU My Lord! You are the Supreme Best!

BHAGAVAN ANSWERS MY QUERIES

Pic Courtesy: https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net

Two things had been working on my mind over the past couple of weeks. After attending the 3-chamber process at Pooja’s home twice, I have been praying to Bhagavan to become a physical part of my household.

A thought struck me. I asked Bhagavan, “I treat you like Santa Claus. I keep asking and asking for things, the list is never ending. Even when You appear to me physically, it looks like I will be continuing to do that only. Is that the only relationship I have with you Bhagavan?

I did not like it at all.

Another thought followed, “I don’t feel gratitude from deep within me. While I am aware and do try hard to be grateful, it does not come naturally to me. I just say ‘thanks’ and immediately go to the next item on my list of requests.

I did not like this either.

I have been attending ‘Krishna Katha’ class conducted by Dr. Sneh Desai over the past two days. It’s a four-day class and I had missed the first day as I had not been aware of it. But of course, Bhagavan knows where to send me and when.

Sneh Desai had the answer to my questions, without my asking him, of course. He played Bhagavan’s messenger.

Dr. Desai said:

What is prayer? You stand before God and go on asking and asking and asking, like a beggar. Is that what prayer is?

The Divine knows what you require and He has already given it all to you. All you have to do is offer your gratitude.

Well said! But how to cultivate this attitude of gratitude? He had an answer for that as well.

We as people are not negative or positive. It is our attitudes. That’s because we focus on a string of incidences that affects our attitude. Create a diary where you make a note of every single thing that you can offer thanks to the Divine at the end of every day. What will happen over a period of time is that your focus will shift to all those good things that happen to you and your attitude changes to positive.

Maintaining a diary is a message I had been receiving since 2-3 weeks from my Antaryaamin. But I was just too lazy to follow it.

But when Sneh Desai said that Gratitude is the only form of prayer & the only way to cultivate the attitude is to maintain a diary, it finally sunk into me. Bhagavan finally got the message through to me and I already started writing my gratitude diary since last night.

Thank you Dr. Desai!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENCE BHAGAVAN AND THANK YOU FOR BEING THE SUPREME TEACHER! I LOVE YOU!

SKIN CARE BY BHAGAVAN & SAI BABA

Pic Courtesy: www.wallpaperswala.com
About three weeks ago, I had very bad skin itching. Heat spots developed all over my body – red spots of varying sizes that kept itching.

Bhagavan told me that my skin was changing along with the DNA changes and He also said that I should be aware that I was fighting it. The moment I became aware of the fight, the mental irritation disappeared.

He also advised me not to use any medicines, and just a body lotion. There was no question of going to the doctor, of course. As we were planning a trip to Shirdi after a few days, Bhagavan told me to go make my peace with Sai Baba (as it had been many years since I visited or prayed to Sai Baba) and Bhagavan would set right my skin after some days.

Some of you might know that the weather in Shirdi is quite dry. Winter had set in at Mumbai and I expected Shirdi to be quite cold. It was not.

I was worried that the hard water might irritate my skin more. I just surrendered to Sai Baba and prayed that He take care of everything.

The two times I had a bath at the hotel, I prayed that the water be sanctified by Bhagavan and Sai Baba and pour on me as a blessing.

On Day 2, as I was having a bath, Sai Baba told me that the water was indeed blessing me. He said that I should not use any body lotion, just pray to God and leave things to Him. He also promised that the itching will stop.

Guess what! The itching never happened after that and the heat spots just disappeared.

I CAN ONLY SAY ‘THANK YOU’ WHEN ALL THE GODS ARE HOLDING HANDS TO TAKE CARE OF ME AND MY FAMILY! LOVE YOU GOD!

Angapradakshinam @ Oneness Temple

Pic courtesy: chinthakaaya.blogspot.in
I have heard of Angapradakshinam in association with Tirupati Balaji. I have always wished that I should do the circumambulation of The Lord where one goes around the temple prahar rolling on the floor.

Bhagavan granted my wish when I got an opportunity to do Angapradakshinam at Oneness Temple during my Super Process. It was an amazing experience.

As usual, my mind had a question about this form of worship. I asked Bhagavan why we roll on the ground while circumambulating.

As always, He had a simple and amazing reply to my query.

Said Bhagavan:

See how the whole universe functions. The Planets rotate around themselves while revolving around The Sun. The Solar System does exactly the same while going around another star. So on and so forth……

Angapradakshinam is exactly the same. You rotate around yourself while revolving around God’s sanctum. This exercise is done to align yourself with the movement of the universe. It’s as simple as that.

What can I say! I had tears in my eyes as I heard this fantastically simple explanation from Bhagavan.

ANANTA KODI PRANAM MY DEAR AMMA BHAGAVAN! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE YOU!

ANOTHER PROCESS FOR BHAGAWAT SHAAKSHAATKAAR

Pooja had organised one more Bhagawat Shaakshaatkaar process at her home on October 16, 2013. I had gone along with my maids Jaya and Muni. There were about a dozen of us for the process.

Pooja gave a small introduction and then we began to sing Bhajans. The moment I closed my eyes I could see Bhagavan standing in front of the altar at Pooja’s home. He appeared like he does in the single Srimurti of yonder days. He stood tall, touching the ceiling and I could see light emanating from all over Him.

I requested Bhagavan to bless us. Light left His person in glowing sparks and flew into us. I asked Him to shower His Grace on each one of us. I could see the sparks coming towards each one of us and entering our Sahasrahara. We are so blessed!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR BLESSING & GRACE, BHAGAVAN!

LETTING GO OF CONTROL; GOING WITH THE FLOW

Pic: www.onenessmovementflorida.org

Please don’t attempt this. It is a Divine Blessing! Bhagavan has to give it to us. All we can see is that we are unable to let go of control. That's what I did!

To continue from Golden Ball Darshan……

Whenever I return home from an Oneness Process, I find that it continues for a few weeks to the point where yet another permanent change occurs within me.

After the process at Pooja’s home, the first couple of days were like any other and then the mind began to do its work. I kept oscillating between breakthrough and breakdown. That’s when Amma told me to take Golden Ball Deeksha every day. I take Deeksha from the Srimurti at least thrice in a day.

I took Her advice and began taking Golden Ball Deeksha. To begin with, I visualised the Golden Ball in my hands before I placed them on my head. But after the first attempt, the Golden Ball began to appear in my vision during each Deeksha. Thank you so much Amma Bhagavan!

While my mind niggled that I had still not had Bhagawat Shaakshaatkaar, I slowly felt a unique peace seep within me. I began lighting a lamp and agarbatti every morning and night. Those who know me will definitely know that this is an uncommon occurrence. I am not too much into rituals and don’t follow a fixed pattern. As you can see, I light the lamp at night and that’s because that’s when I chant the Moolamantra for 21 minutes. Again, most of the days, but not every day. As we grow in Oneness, we realise that there is no compulsion to do anything and it’s best to go with the flow.

How to let go of control?

We can’t! And Bhagavan says that all we have to do is SEE that we are unable to let go of control. We plan our days, our weeks, our years and our lives, for that matter. Planning takes away all the energy and when do we live? He says that we don’t. We just exist. So very true!

That’s because we want to control every aspect of our lives. Not just that, we want to control every aspect of our spouse’s and children’s lives. We are actually leading a tortuous existence. Bhagavan is ready, willing and definitely has a million times better ability to run our lives.

But… what if He ignores my wishes? What if I am not able to achieve exactly what I want? What if this…. What if that?

Questions asked by the mind.

It’s actually very simple. God has created us for a purpose. That purpose will have its way, even if we take a thousand janams to achieve it. And believe me, when we are following our soul’s path, we will definitely find peace. But for that we need to let go. But is that possible? Not by our efforts. It takes the Divine Will to handle that. But how to get the Divine to help us in this matter? God has said that He will not interfere in our lives unless we call out to Him.

So, call Him. That’s what I did.

There were many days and nights that I have felt the pressure of wanting to control every aspect of my existence.

What my Antaryaamin made me see was this: As a human being, I have a very small purview of everything. Whereas GOD has a total 360 degree view while he also knows my past, present and future. At the same time I am trying to squeeze my life into a minuscule frame that is formed by my imagination, HE is ready to hand over the universe to me on a platter, without any effort on my part. Would it not be a smarter move to give my life into His keeping?

That’s how I realised the value of Surrender. Please understand that I had understood the lesson at my mind’s level at this point. Thinking ‘Surrender is best’ does not bring it about. I went on doing the Shashtang Namaskaarams every day. Not eleven times each day, may be - but definitely every day.

Is there a choice? It’s Bhagavan at work here. Surrender occurred, finally, after the process at Pooja’s place. So has Gratitude. I used to lack in gratitude. I realised that because my Antaryaamin told me so. But I feel more of that emotion too nowadays.

Yes, I am finally in a state of surrender, living on a day-to-day basis. I am not saying that this is ‘it’. There is still a way to go. But, looking back over the years, I have come a very very long way, all thanks to My Bhagavan.

Every day, before going to bed, I tell Bhagavan that I would like to complete a set of tasks the next day. I also give Him the freedom to decide if He wants to experience those tasks through me. Then I just sit back and relax. The work gets done, completely. Most of the time I am surprised at my energy levels, my determination to complete something, my total lack of distraction, my focus, etc. Then I realised, it is not ME. It is HIM doing the work. I am just sitting back and enjoying the ride. I don’t even have the worry of wondering whether I will complete my targets. It’s not my responsibility any more. I have truly LET GO! That has been possible only because of DIVINE BLESSING!

Is there a Sundari? I don’t know nor do I care. I am just GOING WITH THE FLOW.

So, at the end of the day, I just thank Amma Bhagavan for doing all my work and set out another batch of tasks for the next day. I don’t feel the urge to think beyond that. HE is doing it for me, so why should I bother?

THANK YOU SO MUCH MY AMMA BHAGAVAN FOR BLESSING ME WITH PEACE!

GOLDEN BALL DARSHAN

When I spoke to Pooja last Saturday, she had mentioned that she would be beginning a new process in her home – Bhagawat Shaakshaatkaar process.

It was my birthday on Monday and I was keen to participate in the process on that day. Luckily for me, Pooja immediately agreed to conduct the process for me on September 30, 2013.

When she took me through the contemplation, I closed my eyes and had a vision of the Golden Ball hovering near the Srimurti. The vision lasted for a minute or so and went away. After that, I had no other experience during the process.

I prayed to Amma Bhagavan thus, “You created me on this same date 52 years ago. That was at 6.30 pm. Please recreate Sundari without the ‘self’ today at 6.30 pm, Amma Bhagavan. And please give me your Physical Darshan.”

Bhagavan immediately agreed that He would do that.

In the evening, I asked Bhagavan about it. Grinning, He told me, “I have already come out of the Srimurti”.

When I shared this with Pooja, she immediately said that we would sing a few bhajans and Amma Bhagavan would definitely give darshan.

While she sat down to sing, I just could not sit back on my chair. I felt compelled to get up and dance. I automatically closed my eyes and once again saw the Golden Ball hovering near the Srimurti.

It appeared to move from the Srimurti towards me. It went back and forth for a few times and suddenly went into my heart chakra. My mind is extremely active and keeps questioning everything that happens. I immediately wondered, ‘how come the heart and not the Sahasrahara?’

The Golden Ball immediately moved to my forehead and then my Sahasrahara. Then it went down to the Manipura, Swadishtana & Mooladhara. I could see it moving everywhere. It then moved to my throat and finally settled back in my heart.

That’s when Pooja sang out, ‘Aavo, mere dil mein baso Amma’. I was stunned to see Amma climbing to sit on a seat that was suddenly there in my heart. She adjusted her sari and settled down. I went on seeing this in wonder while Bhagavan was standing beside her, smiling.

I was sitting at this time as I was a bit tired with the dancing. Suddenly, I saw Amma get up, raise her arm and dance. How could I sit watching that? I also got up and danced with her. And Bhagavan joined us. Then suddenly, both Amma & Bhagavan were sitting on a swing (jhula) within my heart that had become golden in colour. They swung on the jhula, back and forth, back and forth.

I am supremely grateful to Amma & Bhagavan for being a part of my life, 24/7.

I LOVE YOU AMMA BHAGAVAN!

SRI BHAGAVAN HEALS MY INCONTINENCE

I had been having incontinence since 2 to 2 ½ years. This is basically not having control over one’s bladder. I believe at least 45% of women suffer from this in middle age. I attended yoga classes for a few days and the teacher taught me a Mudra for curing incontinence.

I started doing it immediately. I used to deep breathe 100 times everyday using that Mudra. It gave immediate relief and in fact I dared to go to Bangalore by bus because I felt much better.

I continued to do the deep breathing and Mudra for more than four months with excellent results. I had even increased deep breathing to a count of 200.

Then suddenly, a few weeks back, the problem reared its head again. I thought it will disappear but it persisted for two days.

Mudra for setting right water
balance in the body
I was in a fantastic state of breakthrough and was unfazed. I told Bhagavan, “See Bhagavan, I have done my best to get cured of incontinence. I can’t do anything more than this. If this is what you want to experience as Sundari, please go ahead and do it. I give you total freedom.”

That’s it!

It has been at least three weeks since I told Bhagavan these words and I have never had this problem again. I have not even done the Mudra and deep breathing since then. I am amazed yet again at Bhagavan’s grace and have no words of gratitude.

Being one with a strong mind, I kept checking again and yet again if I am losing control. But then, I realise that it’s the Biggest Boss of the Universe in charge. I am finally totally free of incontinence.

I LOVE YOU VAITHEESWARA AMMA BHAGAVAN! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES!

MILK MIRACLE

As I have mentioned in a previous blog – Bhagavan in my kitchen - Bhagavan is a great help in my kitchen.

Today morning, He performed a miracle. Well, miracles have become a way of life with Him in my life. But I have to write about this one.

I had heated two litres of milk last night at about 8 pm. I was waiting for it to cool down before putting it in the fridge. While I went to sleep only at 12.30, I had forgotten about it completely.

In the morning, when I walked into the kitchen at 6.40 am, I was startled to see the milk vessel sitting there on my kitchen platform.

My daughter has to leave early to work and there was no one else up to go buy fresh milk. Of course, help is always at hand when you call out to the Almighty. I told God to please take care of the issue and after removing the cream, I reheated the milk in another vessel. From previous experience, I know the chances were high that the milk would be spoilt. But then Bhagavan is just waiting to perform miracles when we call out.

The milk was boiled and was in perfect condition, not having lost its freshness. My son is very sensitive to taste and even he felt there was nothing wrong with the milk. In fact he said that it tasted better than usual. I, of course, was not surprised to hear that.

Sri Bhagavan says that as the consciousness level increases, problems don’t necessarily cease. But the way we perceive them changes. I could see that change in myself all thanks to Sri Bhagavan’s guidance from within me.

THANK YOU SO MUCH SRI BHAGAVAN! I LOVE YOU!

MY ANTARYAAMIN ON DECEMBER 21, 2012

I was disturbed since morning as nothing seemed to be happening in the outer world. I felt quite lost as I didn’t know whether I should push for something or whether things will happen by themselves. I had been nagging Bhagavan about a number of things – whether things will really change on or before December 21, 2012, how things will happen, etc.

Bhagavan: If I give you specific details, you will form them into concepts and believe that only those things will be possible. There is no sense in offering specifics as things will change as per the wish of the people and the way they visualise and create the world. So, it does not make any sense for me to tell you that the world will be in a particular shape.

Sundari: I am totally confused. That’s why I keep asking you to come before me and give me clarity. When Archangel Michael says that the earth will move into 5D but some part of the human population will stay back in a hologram, it sounds plausible, but I am not able to quite accept it. I thought that when 70,000 plus people are awakened, automatically, the world population should awaken. Then why this? (Click here for the reference link)

Bhagavan: Exactly. Here you must understand one thing. When AAM says that a situation is so, then that is truth. But we both know that there can be many truths existing simultaneously. When Steve asks certain questions, he receives answers that are acceptable to him. If I describe what 5D could be, people living in 3D may not even understand what I am talking about. And I will not even be giving the complete description and will probably be only giving a minuscule viewpoint. So what do you want me to say?

Sundari: All of you keep saying that we should not keep our focus only on December 21, 2012. I am confused as to what I must do or not do.

Bhagavan: There is nothing for you to do except meditate, pray and keep seeing your thoughts. You cannot do more than that. When you feel fear, be aware. There is nothing else for you to do. I told you to ask for enlightenment NOW, and not to focus on a future date. You have to be aware that you are living for December 21 and that you are not even aware of today or the second you are living in.

Sundari: True. But I don’t know how to come out of it.

Bhagavan: You have to be aware and ask for enlightenment NOW. That’s why I told you to take deeksha as many times as possible and especially whenever you feel low or are sliding into a breakdown. When you take the deeksha, you have to tell your Divine to grant it to you NOW.

Sundari: Thank you Bhagavan, I have been doing that. In fact, I have told the people around me to do it too.

Bhagavan: Every single concept that everyone visualises can become possible in 5D. That’s what creating is all about. That’s why it is not possible to tell anyone exactly that this is how the world is going to be. Even God is game to be surprised and every moment is to be experienced. There is no need to fear and you know that. You are disturbed as you are losing control over your life completely and you don’t know what’s going to happen. You feel if you have a date (December 21, 2012) on which you can focus, then there is some semblance of control. That’s exactly what I don’t want you to do. But then, I realise it is like telling you to take medicine without thinking about the monkey. You will do exactly what I told you not to. That’s why I keep reiterating that nothing special is going to happen on December 21, 2012. If I say something, you will hold on to that tightly and imagine that only that one thing will happen on that date. That just cannot be true. Are you able to grasp what I am saying?

Sundari: Absolutely GG! I understand and thank you. But please give me something to go on.

Bhagavan: I have told you all the story of the two farmers during the advent of Kali Yuga, during Lord Krishna’s reign. How they changed drastically in barely a week’s time. The first week, both of them wanted to give away the pot of gold to the other. Immediately after, they each turned selfish and wanted the pot of gold for himself. That was so because of the change in the Yugas. Dwapara Yuga where there had been 50% positivity had given way to Kali Yuga where there is only 25% positivity.

In the very same way, now the Yugas are shifting once again. Kali Yuga is giving way to Sathya Yuga where there will be 100% positivity. Immediately, around December 21, 2012, there will be a grand transformation in people’s hearts and minds; even in their whole systems. They just cannot think negative. There is also the added bonus of all negativity being wiped out from your unconscious mind and all karma cleared out.

The result? There will be no fear, unhappiness, tension, negative karma, pain, disease, jealousy, anger, lack and other negativities. MAN is literally reborn with a clean slate. What you create over it is up to you. But imagine living without these negativities that are weighing you down now. That will be your state. That is what the Golden Age is all about. For this mental state to reflect in your outer world is totally up to you. You have all the help from your Gods, Celestials, Galactics, Extraterrestrials, People from the Inner Earth and more. All you have to do is ask for it.

I am offering you a state of pure love, joy, happiness and plenty. Just grab it with both hands and enjoy.

Sundari: Thank you so much, Bhagavan! I love you and will continue to nag you till you appear in front of me. :D

MY ENTRY INTO THE BLOGGING WORLD

This picture of Amma is from the
Srimurti at home
One day I was sitting in my office, thoroughly hating my job. This was in June 2009. I felt so uninspired and bored, doing the routine work that paid well. After completing the urgent things for the morning, I felt myself sliding into a breakdown. That’s when I prayed to Amma. I asked her to give me inspiration to do something creative and interesting.

MY PRAYER WAS ANSWERED IN EXACTLY FIFTEEN MINUTES.

Suddenly, the thought came to me that I can blog. I immediately went on google and found out about blogging. My first blog was ready the very same day. Today, I run five blogs singlehandedly (with of course, Amma’s hand on my head blessing me 24/7) – writing, editing, designing and more.

It’s almost three years now and I have not looked back. My life has become absolutely colourful and joyous as I write blogs. It is my space where I get to express my creativity and my thoughts when and how I please. What more could someone ask for?

There were a few people who have asked me, “You spend so much time writing so many articles after watching films and eating at restaurants; then you write short stories and novels. What remuneration do you get out of it?”

That’s the best part of the whole thing. For remuneration, I do a lot of work that I don’t much care for or don’t enjoy to the maximum. I do that too as an income is an important part of one’s life and a necessity.

Blogging is for joy! I simply love it and it thrills me no end when I receive a feedback – especially a positive one – from someone.

I LOVE YOU AMMA FOR GRANTING ME THIS ANSWER TO MY PRAYER AND THAT TOO SO FAST! AND IT HAS HAD SUCH A LONG LASTING REPERCUSSION TOO.

EVEN INANIMATE OBJECTS HAVE CONSCIOUSNESS

My cot is the one on the right

I have heard a talk by Sri Bhagavan of Oneness University where he mentions that everything has consciousness (chaitanya) in it – both living and non-living things. It is just that inanimate objects vibrate at a different frequency.

Then Sundarji had mentioned in some of the classes that he had conducted at our home, that healing can be given to all the equipment that we use at home. For eg.; Sundarji mentioned that we can heal our fridge, washing machine, computer, TV, etc. It sounded good and I have given healing to the said equipment many times.

But the latest experience that I had was simply miraculous. Venkat and I have two single cots placed together in our bedroom. The one Venkat slept on creaked badly. We tried shaking it but it was quite sturdy and did not seem to require a visit from the carpenter. But it continued to creak every time Venkat turned and he did that quite often.

That’s when I suggested that he interchanged the cots and allowed me to use the one that creaked as I don’t turn around too much in my sleep. The shifting happened the day before yesterday. As I lay down on the creaking cot in the afternoon, I shifted once and it literally groaned. Suddenly, my inner guidance led me to talk to my cot. Yeah, you read that right - I talked to my cot.

I said, “I love you Cot. You make a lovely and comfortable bed for me. I don’t quite know what is making you uncomfortable. But thank you so much for taking care of me.” I touched the cot as I uttered these words.

Incredible while it sounds, the miracle happened instantaneously. The cot stopped creaking from that very second. Venkat tried it and Viggy slept on it in the night. Vinny lay down on it and kept turning around after she returned from Goa today morning. The cot has become a silent one, having been healed completely with love. Vinitha is still amazed as she remembered the time when this very cot had been in the kids’ bedroom and it used to groan and groan.

WORDS FAIL ME WHEN I WONDER AT THE CHAITANYA THAT GOD HAS PLACED IN EVERY CREATION OF HIS.

THANK YOU BHAGAVAN. I LOVE YOU AND ALL OF YOUR CREATION!

A MAJOR CLEAN UP IS UNDERWAY

Pic Courtesy: blog.prashantgorule.com

I had read a lot on the internet about the effects of the Annular Solar Eclipse 2012 on the environment, on the earth and on human beings. Click here to read more on this. A clean up of negative energies is happening around the planet to ring in The Golden Age on December 21, 2012.

The clearing up is being carried out by helpful Extra-terrestrials who have come down from other parts of our Universe to help the Earth and her inhabitants. In India, the ETs are called by another name – the 33 crore celestials (muppathu mukkodi devargal - முப்பத்து முக்கோடி தேவர்கள் in Hindu Scriptures). A rose by any other name will smell as sweet – Thank you Celestials, whoever you are.

Between the solar eclipse on May 20, 2012 and the Venus Transit on June 5-6, 2012, negativities will be completely removed from earth. This is what my Bhagavan told me in my Antaryaamin on May 21. I requested Bhagavan to show me proof of the clean up and forgot all about it.

As usual, the Divine never forgets. I usually go for my evening walk at around 7 pm. That particular evening I stepped out at 8 pm. I am not sure what prompted me to look up at the sky – it was a gorgeous shade of dark blue that I have never ever seen in Mumbai. Mumbai skies have been various shades of grey, especially after sunset, over the past 2 decades. I was simply amazed to see this lovely shade of violet-blue with wispy white clouds (also unseen) floating around. I called my husband, kids and my sister Lakshmi as I was totally excited.

Later, I spoke to a friend who lives in Kolkata and asked her to check the Kolkata skies too. Amazingly, she had also noticed the lovely change that had come about. Another friend in Mumbai had also noticed the transformation.

I have checked out the skies – both during the day and at night – and it has been consistently clean and a lovely shade of blue.

I am sure all of you should look up at the sky back home and see that it has changed forever. Yeah, we have put one foot into Sathyuga – already.

JAI HO BHAGAVAN! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

GEETHA GOES BACK TO SCHOOL

Geetha

Jaya has been working in my house since ten years. That was from the time she moved to Mumbai with her elder daughter Anjali. Her younger daughter Geetha joined them a year later after completing Std. V in their village. Jaya had decided to shift her family to Mumbai after her husband’s death as there was no way to make a living there.

She chose Mumbai as her sister and family also live here. Jaya did not even think of putting her children in school in Mumbai. One was the language barrier, another was affordability and the third and predominant reason was that Jaya did not realize the value of education. While Anjali was not too disturbed by this, the younger Geetha had always dreamt of studying further. The 9-year-old did not go to school for the next four years. I was busy with a job in those days and also because Jaya was new to my household, she never mentioned anything.

I was going to Bandra to attend a lecture and prayer session conducted by Amma Bhagavan’s guide. I took my children; a friend; her son; Jaya and her younger daughter who was absolutely fascinated with Amma Bhagavan. Geetha had already begun praying to the Srimurti since a few months. At the time of the Pooja, Geetha was 13 years old. During the prayer session, we were all told to make a wish and pray to Amma Bhagavan. Geetha diligently followed the session and said her prayers. Not that she shared her secret with anyone.

A couple of months later, the Municipal School next door sent out volunteers to the Basthi where Jaya lives and encouraged children to join school. The education was free of cost while they provided books, school bag and uniforms to the children. A super-excited Geetha told her mother to enroll her. Jaya was very hesitant and talked to me about it. I told her to not even think about it and to put her in school. My daughter Vinitha offered to pay for any private tuition that was required for Geetha and she does that till today.

After the admission process was complete, Geetha let on to her mother that that’s what she had prayed to Amma Bhagavan – that she should get a chance to complete her studies. The childish innocence and strong faith brought down the full force of Amma Bhagavan’s grace and her prayers were answered immediately. Geetha was allowed to join in Std. III as she had never studied Hindi before. Not that the kid was terribly bothered. She forged ahead with her studies and today at 19 she has successfully passed out of Std. VIII. Her results came out yesterday.

AMMA BHAGAVAN HAS YET AGAIN PROVED THAT IF THERE IS A PRAYER, THE GRACE IS NOT FAR BEHIND!

THANK YOU AMMA BHAGAVAN!

BHAGAVAN PUTS MY MOTHER ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY

My mother & Me

Click here to meet my mother

My mother Vijaya has always been active and works hard. She loves cooking the most and one thing she likes even better is feeding people.

Unfortunately, she fell badly ill and was hospitalized in November 2011 and could not even attend my nephew’s - her grandson’s - wedding immediately after. There were a number of complications – she is a diabetic, has high BP, a not-too-strong heart and a minor kidney problem. Added to all this, she fell prey to Dementia. The psychiatrist told us that she must have probably been struck with it since 2-3 years and Dementia generally shows up only after a few years. It was quite a shock to all of us as my Amma has always been guiding us throughout our lives. She and my father had been taking care of my 98-year-old grandfather until a couple of years ago.

At that point, I prayed to Bhagavan that I hoped that she stayed alive and could move into Sathyug as Vijaya but also prayed that if it is her soul choice then she should pass on. That’s when Bhagavan reassured me that my mother will live long enough to cross into Sathyug.

Over the past few months, while my mother could physically move about, her mental condition prevented her from doing so. She insisted on staying in bed. The doctors – a couple of them – had recommended a number of tablets that kept her in a dull condition. But there was not much we could do about it.

There were a number of consultants who had attended on her at Vijaya Hospital and every one of them was clear that only a miracle could get her out of Dementia. Dementia generally tends to get worse with the passing of time and can be arrested to some extent with medicines.

While my sisters who live there locally go there often to meet my mother, it was my father who stayed with my mother 24/7 along with the nurse on duty. I am sure he must have had the worst time of his life during this period.

A week ago, my mother suddenly felt breathless and my sister and father decided that it was best to take her to hospital and they called an ambulance. I was very upset when I heard this.

I had thought things were status quo and Bhagavan would soon cure my mother and things will be hunky dory, especially with December 21, 2012 around the corner. This sudden need for hospitalizing my mother was a shocker.

I asked Bhagavan, “Are you showing me signs that it is time for her to move on and telling me only now? Please give me guidance. I don’t even know what to pray for.”

Bhagavan said, “Your mother will be fine and it is not time for her to leave the earth. You are her daughter, you ask me for a miracle that she should be cured.”

I did that but got up at least six times in the middle of the night, worry eating into me. I kept feeling fear.

Come morning, I told Bhagavan, “My mind is going on putting me in the state of fear. I am very worried Bhagavan. You do say that my mother will recover, right?”

Bhagavan smiled and said, “Mind is fear. You had already told me that you were ready to allow your mother’s soul to take its course. So it is not as if you were not ready to accept reality. Despite that, the Divine has promised you that your mother will recover. Give me one reason why I should make such a promise to fool you? Of course your mother will be fine. You watch it, she will be discharged in 3 days and she will return home in a regular vehicle and not by ambulance.”

I drew a lot of strength from those words and kept on praying along with my sisters.

Now, God has promised and the miracle has to happen – and they did, many of them. The doctor was flummoxed with the erratic nature of my mother’s sugar levels and BP levels. They soon decided to stop giving her all the medicines prescribed by the psychiatrists. They kept her in the ICU and finally realized that she was suffering from Urinary Infection and nothing more. They suddenly decided to send her home directly from the ICU as it was not required for her to remain there any longer.

On Saturday, my sisters were amazed as my mother spoke to them so clearly. Even I got to talk to her on the phone. She was so clear and enquired about everyone at home. She spoke long about everyone – all relatives, neighbours and others. It was simply amazing how she suddenly became alright. Science has no explanation for this.

She returned home by a call taxi and is doing alright at home. There is a bit of weakness, but her clarity has not reduced one iota.

JAI HO BHAGAVAN! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

BHAGAVAN PUTS ME IN 'BREAKTHROUGH'

I attended the Super Process at the Oneness Temple from March 1 to 3, 2012. Whenever I have attended courses at Oneness University, I get a number of visions and many experiences. This time round, I had just one vision and no experience at all. But then, the Oneness Processes very rarely get completed during the course. They continue even after we return home.

About a couple of weeks after getting back to Mumbai, I was lying down on the sofa in my hall in front of the Srimurti. It was at about 10.30 am and I was not feeling too energetic and that’s why I was lying in that position praying that Amma Bhagavan help me.

Suddenly, I saw Amma and Bhagavan sitting on my right side. Bhagavan told me that He was going to give me healing and remove all the blocks in my system. Amma silently slid under my head and held me in her lap. Bhagavan placed his hands on my stomach, much to my surprise. He explained that the blocks are generally embedded in the abdomen and hence He needed to give me healing there.

I thought that this process will happen for a few minutes and settled down to just receive it. After about an hour, I realized that a lot of time had passed and Bhagavan was still giving me deeksha. I suddenly felt sorry for Amma holding my heavy head and shoulders on her lap for such a long time. The moment this thought came into me, Amma said, “I am perfectly fine Sundari, you just relax.” Tears rolled down my face at the love both Amma and Bhagavan have for me and how hard they were working at removing my blocks.

Another thought came into me that I had not eaten anything since morning. The moment this thought came, Bhagavan said, “All the better to receive the deeksha. It works best on an empty stomach.” There was no arguing that, of course.

I needed to use the toilet twice in the middle of the process. Both times, Bhagavan was kind enough to let me go, while both of them awaited my return. I love you AB!

Finally, it was 2.40 pm when Bhagavan lifted His hands from my stomach. He told me that it had taken that long to remove all the vasanas from all of my 525 plus the present 526th janam on this earth. I could well understand that.

Amma and Bhagavan left after completing their work and I got up with aching arms and legs. A few days went on with me expecting thundering miracles in my life. After about 10 days, my mind started playing. I could see myself sliding into a breakdown while my mind pointed out what all Amma Bhagavan could have done to improve my life and had not despite removing ALL the blocks.

I started fighting with Bhagavan when I was doing my namaskarams at night when I suddenly stopped. I told Amma Bhagavan that I will not talk to them while they could talk to me and that I will just do their ‘naama japa’ until some earth-shattering miracle happened in my life.

After a day had passed, I began to realize that I had been pushed into doing this by the Divine Himself. Over the next four days, whenever I woke up, instead of talking to AB as I usually do, I began chanting ‘Amma Bhagavan’ or ‘Moola Mantra’ or kept saying ‘Muruga Muruga’. I also did this whenever my mind began to say something. I did not allow it to talk at all. This continued even during the time I woke up in the middle of the night.

At the end of the fourth day, the earth did shatter around me - I felt such a powerful sense of peace steal over me. I have never felt such peace in my memory. And something else also had happened. I was in total BREAKTHROUGH. I have felt myself in breakthrough and breakdown states many times. It had always seemed like the movement of the pendulum – going back and forth. My Breakthrough states have remained for about 3-4 days at one stretch, at the most.

Today, the state I am in is entirely God given. Every day, I thank Amma Bhagavan for keeping me in Breakthrough over the past 24 hours and at the same time request them to continue keeping me in Breakthrough for the next 24 hours. Nothing else, just that!

THE DIVINE HAS MADE ME REALISE THAT THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO LIFE!

ANANTA KODI NAMASKARAM TO MY AMMA BHAGAVAN!

BHAGAVAN IN MY KITCHEN

Well, the truth is that Bhagavan is in total charge of my entire life, all aspects of it. But I plan to write about how He helps me in the kitchen on this blog and hence the title.

After getting into the habit of talking to Bhagavan 24/7, I began to ask him for advice every time I made something in the kitchen. There are a number of times Bhagavan gave me suggestions even without asking.

Like He used to tell me to use green chillies instead of red, to use or not use ginger or garlic or some other flavouring in a particular dish.

This used to happen some years ago. There were many times when I never felt the energy to do any cooking and have been too bored with the idea. Sometimes, Bhagavan used to convince the family to go out for dinner or order food from outside – that is, the idea used to come from someone else in the family as I felt guilty about suggesting eating outside too often.

But, over a period of time, whenever I entered the kitchen in a bored state and prayed to Bhagavan, I used to suddenly feel energized and started enjoying cooking stuff and made interesting recipes. I have always enjoyed cooking but somehow a few years back I had lost interest. Bhagavan healed that completely and nowadays, whenever I go into the kitchen, I do so with great enthusiasm.

Bhagavan has taught me a number of recipes that I have never heard of before. A couple of examples are Pickled Green Chillies & Aromatic Carrot Soup.

There are a number of times when there is an imbalance of flavours in the dishes I make – like it turns out too spicy or sour or salty. I just request Bhagavan to set it right and He does that – sometimes by giving me suggestions for rectifying the same and many-a-time by miracle. And of course, I like the latter method the best.

I am simply amazed at the number of times the excess salt has disappeared from many dishes with a small request to My Dear Bhagavan!

THANK YOU SO MUCH BHAGAVAN FOR BEING WITH ME ALL THE TIME AND TAKING CARE OF MY KITCHEN!

CONNECTION WITH GOD

I had this experience after my Antaryaamin had awakened within me. One day, I felt very disconnected with God and did not like the feeling at all. But I realized that I could not do much about it.

As I went for my walk, I asked Bhagavan, “What has happened Bhagavan? Why have you gone so far away from me? I am feeling low and left out without the connection with you.” I felt very sad about this.

Bhagavan smiled and said, “Even the mother cuts away the umbilical cord when the child is born. But God never disconnects with his children. You are my child and I am always there with you. If you feel a distancing at all, it is the work of the mind and even then you have probably moved 1/100th of an inch away from me. I never move away from you. Remember that always!”

This is the love God has for all of us – his children.

NEED I SAY MORE?

THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME SO MUCH MY BHAGAVAN!

MY ANTARYAAMIN GUIDES ON ‘UPVAAS’

Throughout my life, from the time I can remember, I have always questioned rituals. It is not that I am against them; I only want to understand the reason for doing something.

One of those was ‘Upvaas’. I have seen my grandmother fasting when I was a kid. I have seen the pressure she was under, how tired she used to get and irritated many times. I began to wonder why she underwent this torture and whether God insisted on it. Whereas I had never seen my mother fast as she insisted that she could never do it and hence will not.

Later, when I broke my ankle, my Periamma (mother’s elder sister) told me that the Guru in my horoscope was not positioned well at that point in time and told me to fast on Thursdays. I wanted to get my ankle healed speedily and so followed the fast. My sister Lakshmi had come to help me at that time as I was on crutches. She also followed the upvaas with me.

Upvaas for me was having only water. I somehow could not relate to upvaas food items. I mean no offence to those who do, but that’s the way I understood things. We both used to fast on water and have one meal after 6 pm – sunset actually.

Those days, I remember how tough I found it. I could not stop fasting as I felt it was required to heal my ankle completely. I followed this for about 20 months of Thursdays and believe me it was pure hell, every single Thursday.

Later, when anyone spoke to me about upvaas, I used to say, “Why take upvaas? Has God decreed it?” Since no one had an answer for that, I went on eating my way through life.

After My Antaryaamin came into action, my life kept evolving on a daily basis. One day, I wanted something to happen very badly. I can’t recall what this was. I was so keen that I told Bhagavan, “I think I will take a fast today.”

Bhagavan grinned and asked me, “Why Sundari? Why do you want to take a fast? Has your God decreed it or what?” My Antaryaamin Bhagavan has a high sense of humour and I just love Him for it.

I took him very seriously and thought about it, because this was exactly the question that I had asked a number of times of a number of people. Today, the Divine had turned the tables on me, obviously to make me think.

I said, “I don’t know Bhagavan. I feel that if I fast and focus on this matter, it will happen immediately.”

Bhagavan replied, “Exactly. That’s why one does an upvaas. And that’s exactly why one should take an upvaas – to focus on something. Understand this, when you want something very strongly, upvaas is one way of achieving it. When you are strongly focused, you will never feel hungry during the upvaas. Even going into a hotel or a kitchen will not tempt you to eat. In fact, you are so focused on what you are trying to achieve that your whole system shuts everything else out. At that time, doing an upvaas is the simplest thing. Just drink water, not even coffee or tea, no fruits, no vegetables – cooked or raw, no fruit juices, no salt-free foods, just nothing. Have only water and focus on the thing that you want and see how both your upvaas and your desire work out.”

I was thoroughly convinced. Who wouldn’t be with the Divine advising? And again, what clarity!

Till date, I take an upvaas when I feel like, only after asking Bhagavan. If it is workable, I am able to go through the day without feeling a single hunger pang or any kind of temptation. What I understood from Bhagavan is that feeling the urge to eat in itself nullifies the fast as the focus shifts.

There are times when I decide to take a fast and after a couple of hours find that I am tempted to eat. I go ahead and eat, breaking the fast immediately. There are other times I feel hungry and then again I break the upvaas.

Bhagavan says that when our focus is completely on what we want, the fast automatically happens. We should never force ourselves. Taking the help of the Divine helps in this; absolutely.

While I hear a number of devotees attend so many courses at the Oneness University – the same courses many times in a number of cases – I have attended very few courses. This is partly by choice, partly by chance and mainly by the Divine Will.

Three weeks before I went for Maha Deeksha in April 2008, Bhagavan put me on fast. He never told me the duration in advance. When I got up in the morning one day, He told me to go on fast that day. The next day, I was off fasting. The third day, He told me to fast again. After a few days, I realized that I was fasting every alternate day before attending the course. I was absolutely prepared and thanks to His guidance, I was in total Mouna during the whole course and had some earth-shattering experiences.

Bhagavan showed me not just the power of fasting, He also showed me the way one should fast and also the need to have a reason for fasting – the main focus actually.

AMAZING TEACHINGS ALL THANKS TO MY ANTARYAAMIN BHAGAVAN! I SIMPLY LOVE YOU!
